As part of a $70M gift to the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation committed up to $25M in scholarships for high-need students and students pursuing primary care.
 
The Tipp City Foundation contributed a $50K grant to support Tipp City’s initiative to construct eight pickleball courts at Kyle Park, the city’s largest community park. 
 
Cuyahoga Arts & Culture is funding summertime offerings from institutions like the Great Lakes Science Center and other vital community organizations with summer program offerings that meld the arts with science and technology training to equip young participants with skills for promising careers.
 
The Erie County Community Foundation is celebrating 30 years of service creating community grants for students, community projects, charitable organizations and more in 2025.
 
The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley shared its growth report highlighting statistics such as its 25th anniversary in 2024, the addition of the third president in the organization’s history and hitting a milestone with $7.8M invested back into the Valley through grants, scholarships and distributions.
 
The Community Foundation of Lorain County hosted its annual Donor Luncheon on March 21 for the Human & Health Services Grant Cycle, the largest of the foundation’s four grant cycles.
 
Clinton County Foundation is offering two grant opportunities from HealthFirst and Streamkeepers.

The CreativeOhio Advocacy Leadership Institute is a program designed to provide arts and culture professionals across the state with advocacy skills, legislative insights and statewide connections funded by donors such as the George Gund Foundation, the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, the Greater Columbus Art Council and Edwards Companies.
 
The nonprofit P2R, or A Place to Recover Training and Resource Center, unveiled a new mobile case management vehicle through a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Nord Family Foundation and Community Foundation of Lorain County match funds.
 
United Way of the Greater Dayton Area has been awarded a $50K grant from the AES Ohio Foundation to support its Strong Families Fund aimed at helping individuals and families in Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties achieve greater household stability.
