Three Arches Foundation announced $2M in funding for grants to 22 local nonprofit organizations to address barriers to health care.

Saint Luke’s Foundation Board of Trustees approved grants totaling $1.7M for twenty organizations during its fourth-quarter board meeting.

The J.W. and M.H. Straker Foundation awarded $320K to 21 organizations this fall as part of the 2024 “Start to Finish” grant cycle.

The Ashtabula Foundation presented a $100K check to the Ashtabula County District Library Foundation for Geneva Public Library’s expansion project on Tuesday, November 21.

The Marietta Community Foundation awarded $50K to the top six winners of the Unselfie Challenge.

The Defiance Area Foundation granted $7,500 to the Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau to continue the building facade enhancement program in downtown Defiance.

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation Board of Trustees approved grants totaling over $1M at the November 2024 board meeting. 

Ashland County Community Foundation board approved 30 community grants totaling $263K for causes ranging from building improvements for nonprofit organizations to suicide prevention programs.

The Portage Foundation announced the recipients of its 2024 grant cycle, awarding over $83K to 29 local organizations and initiatives dedicated to fostering positive change in the community.

McCullough-Hyde Foundation approved a community grant of $62K to 17 community organizations that addresses significant local health needs.

Robert L. and Kathleen M. Polsky Foundation Community Fund, through the Wayne County Community Foundation, provided a $10K grant for the Fredericksburg Greenhouse crews to plant new trees at the Silver Linden Park and Playground.

Greener Pastures Foundation at The Dayton Foundation, announced a $3M unrestricted grant to Dayton Children’s in support of mental health and wellness for Greater Dayton youth.

The Appalachian Regional Commission awarded a $192K grant to the HealthPath Foundation of Ohio, a supporting organization of Greater Cincinnati Foundation, to lead a transformative, multi-state initiative to strengthen the oral health workforce.

John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation announced the recipients of its 2024 library grant program, which awarded 77 grants to rural public libraries across the United States. 

Bryan Area Foundation provided a $15K grant to the Sanctuary Homeless Shelter to help it replace its carpeting.
