The Richland County Foundation Board of Trustees approved over $2M in grants to various organizations during its February meeting.

The Springfield Foundation awarded $1.06M in discretionary grants to local Clark County nonprofits.

The Ohio State Bar Foundation awarded $549K in grants to 12 nonprofit organizations that made a real impact across Ohio.

The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley awarded nearly $100K to the recipients of the 2025 Community Impact and Field of Interest Fund grant on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

The Ohio Arts Council and the Area Agency on Aging provided grants that sponsored several free classes at the Richland Academy of the Arts for adults 60 and older.

The Youngstown Foundation and Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley each funded the start-up of an Autism Diagnostic Clinic led by a local nonprofit, the Easterseals of Northeast Ohio in Youngstown.

Marietta Community Foundation is accepting 2025 grant applications for large projects and smaller, immediate needs to nonprofits serving Washington County.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, in partnership with the Longaberger Family Foundation, is accepting grant applications to support K-12 civics education programming throughout the region.

The Defiance Area Foundation, through the Hicksville community fund, provided a $7.5K donation to the Johnson Memorial Library Friends.

CreativeOhio reported that Ohio’s creative sector directly generated about $32.9B annually with a 2024 economic impact study conducted in partnership with ArtsinStark, ArtsNow, ArtsWave, Assembly for the Arts, Culture Works, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Toledo Museum of Art and the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber.

The Cleveland Public Theatre received a big boost on Wednesday, Feb. 19, with a $4M matching grant from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Supporting Foundation for renovations.

AES Ohio Foundation awarded $1.4M in grants that will support 54 local organizations from eviction aid to the arts.

In partnership with The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, Cory-Rawson Local Schools’ Green & Gold Foundation Fund reached its grant funding milestone to begin granting to school staff, coaches and administrators in support of enrichment opportunities for students across grade levels and programs starting in January 2026.

The Portage Foundation started its programming with an education series, a pickleball fundraiser and scholarships available to Kent State students.
