Dayton Foundation provided $120K in grants to 23 charitable organizations throughout greater Dayton.

The Fairfield County Foundation awarded grants to 13 organizations totaling $171K at their November board meeting.

The Community Foundation of Lorain County launched The People’s Project on Thursday, a new initiative encouraging grassroots community support and crowdfunding opportunities.

The Community Foundation for Crawford County awarded $324K in grants to local organizations.

Tipp City Foundation has given out $177K in grants in 2024, including $39K to 13 organizations in the fourth quarter.

The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation awarded $15K to the Youngstown City Schools for its STEAM Storytellers Project.

The board of directors of The Raymond John Wean Foundation approved grants of more than $380K, including $15K of additional resources to existing grantees to support equitable compensation practices.

Schooler Family Foundation supported funding for before-school, after-school and summer programming at the Coshocton City Schools with a $92K grant.

The Morgan Community Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, has awarded eight grants totaling over $16K to support projects and programs benefiting the county’s residents and communities.

The Jewish Community Center in Youngstown has received $100K in grants to expand the Early Learning Center from the J. Ford Crandall Memorial Foundation, Beecher Foundation, John S and Doris Andrews Memorial Fund, Penner Family Endowment, Frank and Pearl Gelbman Charitable Foundation, Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Walter E. and Caroline H. Watson Foundation.

Granville Community Foundation awarded over $100K to 22 local organizations in 2024.

Community West Foundation awarded $566K in fourth-quarter grants to support the work of local nonprofit organizations.

The TEGNA Foundation significantly impacted the Toledo area by awarding grants to local nonprofit organizations in recent years.

The Ode Family Foundation and the Columbia Community Foundation announced a combined gift of $100K to Ohio nonprofit The Road to Hope.
