Coshocton Foundation’s Hospice of Coshocton Legacy Fund provided a $2.4M grant to help fund the construction of Gentlebrook, a new senior care facility in Coshocton.

The Ohio Arts Council sent an ArtSTART grant to Go Ottawa to support a new downtown Christmas event, Once Upon a Main Street.

The Youngstown Foundation awarded the YWCA of the Mahoning Valley a $75K grant to support its affordable housing project.

Ohio Humanities supported the Toledo Opera with a $15K grant to their fund podcast project.

The Scioto Foundation announced the establishment of the Constance Burns Ackerman Memorial Scholarship Fund created by her husband Marion Ackerman.

Beck Center for the Arts is honoring philanthropic luminaries Chuck and Char Fowler, Holley Fowler Martins, Chann Fowler-Spellman and The Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation at their annual Spotlight Gala.

The Healthy Lakewood Foundation provided a $10K grant to the City of Lakewood to provide gift cards for those of limited means.

The United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties has funded nearly $200K in programs to support brain development, early literacy and kindergarten readiness for the Springfield City School District and other local organizations.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio awarded nearly $659K in donor-established postsecondary scholarships to students across Appalachian Ohio, including two students from Hocking County.

The Richland County Foundation Board of Trustees approved education grants totaling nearly $66K.
